Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By connecting your wallet to Solius and using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our application.

2. Description of Service

Solius is a decentralized messaging application built on the Solana blockchain. We provide end-to-end encrypted communication services, including private chats, group chats, and channels. Our services also include access to crypto-related information, tools, and community features.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Solius. By using our services, you represent that:

• You are at least 18 years of age
• You have the legal capacity to enter into these terms
• You are not prohibited from using blockchain services in your jurisdiction

4. Wallet & Security

You are solely responsible for the security of your wallet and private keys.

• Never share your private keys or seed phrase with anyone
• Solius will never ask for your private keys
• We cannot recover lost wallets or reverse transactions
• You are responsible for all activity conducted through your connected wallet

5. Blockchain Transactions & Fees

Using Solius involves blockchain transactions:

• Creating chats requires a small SOL deposit (~0.005 SOL) for on-chain storage
• Deposits are refunded when chats are deleted or you leave
• Standard Solana network fees apply to all transactions
• Transaction fees are non-refundable
• All blockchain transactions are final and irreversible

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use Solius to:

• Engage in illegal activities or promote illegal content
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Distribute malware, spam, or phishing attempts
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
• Attempt to exploit, hack, or disrupt the service
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Share content that infringes intellectual property rights

We reserve the right to restrict access to users who violate these terms.

7. No Investment Advice

8. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create and share through Solius. However, by using our service, you grant us a limited license to transmit and store your encrypted content as necessary to provide the service.

You are solely responsible for the content you share. We do not monitor or have access to encrypted message content, but we may take action on reported violations.

9. Intellectual Property

Solius and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our branding, code, or designs without permission.

10. Third-Party Services

Solius integrates with third-party services including wallet providers (Phantom, Solflare, etc.), the Solana blockchain, and decentralized storage networks. We are not responsible for the availability, security, or terms of these services.

11. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Solius may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or factors beyond our control. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Solius and its team from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, violation of these terms, or infringement of any rights of another party.

14. Termination

You may stop using Solius at any time by disconnecting your wallet. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to users who violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

15. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of Solius after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes.

16. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation.
